What is it?

When I worked at Cast Art Industries, we’d often get these sculpts with little critters that were totally unidentifiable, insofar as they could have been anything from gophers to chipmunks. They were blobs of clay with cute faces. In any case, I made this sketch of who knows what it is. This is what happens when you doodle with no plan in mind.
