I don’t know how many of you got into the sketchbook publishing game, but like everything else, I arrived too late to capitalize from the movement. I recall Bud Plant selling tons of sketchbooks, and suddenly, the next year, no one was buying them. As usual, I made the right move at the wrong time and had to eat it. Here’s one idea I had for a sketchbook cover. I went with a different cover entirely, but I did toss around a few ideas prior to that.
